What are you living for?

Documentary following two young people who studied at Edinburgh's university

Paul Craig had difficulties studying and his "life wasn't much fun" he says. After his studies, Paul started running a farm, instead of taking an office-job he was offered. He tries to put things straight with his father, with whom the communication is difficult, or non existent. He starts a discussion with him about what worries him; his father doesn't respond positively immediately, but phones him three weeks later to apologize for his reaction. They start a new relationship together. Valerie Gross tells about her studies and the fact that for a long time life was meaningless to her. She tried to commit suicide. She saw the film "Happy Deathday", in which she found new elements for her life, that she can now share with her friends and colleagues.
